Be Joyful

In these last days, it’s so easy to get depressed or anxious.  Know that is the devil trying to attack you.  We must start our day with God before our feet hit the ground.  Simply thank him for all he has done and is about to do in you.  When you show God that he is priority in your heart he will bless you more than you can contain!

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 (NKJV)

An easy way to start your day too is sign up with the Bible app on your phone and set the verse of the day to display on your lock screen just before your wake up time.  That will be the first thing you see on your phone.

When you are in the car commuting to and from work – choose to listen to things that will calm and inspire you.  For example, some mornings on my 30 minute early commute I listen to Joel Osteen on Sirius Satellite Radio and on the way home I listen to Watercolors (a jazz station) or the Chill station.  Sometimes I listen to Podcasts or even Audio Books.

Don’t allow others to steal your joy!  I love this video of this girl not allowing others to steal her joy:

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.

Hebrews 7:25 (NLT)
